It is manufactured using a carefully controlled process employing very uniform and consistent crude sources.

BENEFITS:

  • Can be applied by conventional methods, thus eliminating need for costly and specialized equipment purchases.
  • Secures gravel cover and provides a weather-resistant top protective coating.
  • Contains no asbestos.
  • Superior physical properties result in higher performance BUR systems.
  • Exceeds minimum requirements of ASTM Specification D 312, Type III.
  • Approved by Factory Mutual Research Corporation® per FM Standard 4470.
  • Classified by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc.® as to an external fire exposure only.

BUR Plus 303

BUR Plus 303 modified asphalt is enhanced with high performance SEBS polymers. It serves as a quality mopping asphalt for use in the construction of built-up roof membrane assemblies. BUR Plus 303 may be used as an interply adhesive and/or a surfacing floodcoat.

BENEFITS:

  • Conforms to the requirements set forth in ASTM D 6152 – Standard Specification for SEBS-Modified Mopping Asphalt Used in Roofing.
  • Can be used with most conventional roofing equipment – eliminates the need for special equipment that may increase the cost of your roof project.
  • High quality surfacing and interply bitumen formulated for improved weathering resistance to extend the performance life of the roof.
  • Modified to accommodate normal roof stress created by thermal changes, making the roof membrane less likely to split or rupture.
  • Provides outstanding adhesion to felts, resulting in high roof system strength.
  • Proprietary formula using SEBS polymers provides the added value of increased roof longevity.
  • Contains no asbestos.
  • Classified by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc.® as to an external fire exposure only.
  • Meets requirements of Factory Mutual Research Corporation® Standard 4470.
